Bus Priority Concept Simulator

Corridor playback

One simulated morning for each scenario, drawn from the same riders and random events. A black bar inside each bus grows from left to right as it loads.

Time-space diagram

Each line is one trip. Steeper lines are faster trips. Lines that converge are buses bunching. Hover a line to see the trip.

Where the run time goes

Average minutes per trip, terminal to terminal.

Bunching along the route

Headway coefficient of variation at regular checkpoints along the route. The labeled marker is where the headline figure is measured. Shaded bands show TCQSM headway-adherence levels of service.

Run-time spread

Every simulated trip that left the terminal during the peak. The wider the spread, the more recovery time the schedule needs.
